ABCD Dermatology was founded in 2009 in the heart of Gangnam by Dr. Dongweon Kim, a Yonsei-trained dermatologist who had grown frustrated with the assembly-line model that dominates Korean cosmetic medicine. He set out to build something different: a single-doctor practice where every consultation, every laser pulse, and every injection is performed by the same hand.
That principle has not changed. Today we still see only the patients Dr. Kim can personally treat — typically eight to twelve per day. We do not run promotions. We do not pay influencers. We grow by referral from patients who have experienced the difference firsthand.
What we offer is rare in Seoul and rarer abroad: an unhurried hour with a board-certified dermatologist, treatment plans that prioritize your long-term skin health over short-term revenue, and the same physician greeting you at every follow-up visit for years to come.
